Course Overview

Our Islamic Studies course is crafted to provide learners with a comprehensive understanding of Islam through Quranic sciences, Hadith, Fiqh (jurisprudence), Seerah (Prophet’s life), Aqeedah (theology), and Islamic ethics . Whether you’re a beginner or refining advanced knowledge, this program blends traditional scholarship with modern learning tools to make Islamic education engaging and transformative.

Objectives of the Course

Preserve the Quran’s Authentic Pronunciation
  • Goal : Teach learners to recite the Quran exactly as revealed to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), following the rules of Tajweed (Makharij al-Huruf, Sifaat, Idgham, Ikhfa , etc.).
Master Tajweed Rules

oal : Provide a step-by-step understanding of beginner to advanced Tajweed rules , including:

  • Madd (elongation) , Qalqalah (echo sound) , and Laam Shamsiyyah/Qamariyyah .
  • Application of rules to Surahs like Al-Fatiha, Al-Baqarah , and Amma Juz
Enhance Spiritual Connection with the Quran
  • Goal : Encourage mindful, rhythmic recitation that deepens emotional and spiritual engagement with the Quran.
Prepare for Quran Memorization (Hifz)
  • Goal : Equip learners with the Tajweed foundation needed for accurate memorization and long-term retention of the Quran.
Develop Confidence in Public Recitation
  • Goal : Train learners to recite the Quran fluently in front of others, whether in Salah, Taraweeh, or community gatherings.
Uphold Sharia-Compliant Standards
  • Goal : Ensure all teachings align with classical Islamic sources (Tuhfat al-Athqal, Al-Jazariyyah ) and scholarly consensus.

Course Structure

The course is divided into modules based on skill level:

Beginner Level (Foundations of Islam)

Module 1: Introduction to Islam

  • What is Islam? The pillars of faith (Iman ) and acts of worship (Ibadah ).
  • The role of the Quran and Sunnah in daily life.

Module 2: Quranic Sciences

  • Basics of Tafsir (interpretation) and Tajweed (recitation rules).
  • Introduction to Quranic Arabic (alphabet, vocabulary, and simple sentences).

Module 3: Aqeedah (Theology)

  • Belief in Allah (Tawheed ), Prophethood, Angels, Divine Decree, and the Hereafter.
  • Clarifying common misconceptions about Islam.

Module 4: Fiqh of Worship

  • Rules of Wudu, Salah, Zakat, Sawm , and Hajj.
  • Practical guidance for daily prayers and Ramadan.

Module 5: Seerah (Life of Prophet Muhammad)

  • Early life, Prophethood, and key events in the Prophet’s journey.
  • Lessons in leadership, patience, and compassion.

Intermediate Level (Skill Development)

Module 6: Advanced Tafsir & Hadith Studies

  • Verse-by-verse analysis of Surahs like Al-Fatiha, Al-Baqarah , and Yaseen .
  • Study of authentic Hadith collections (Sahih Bukhari, Sahih Muslim ) and their application.

Module 7: Comparative Fiqh

  • Differences between Hanafi, Shafi’i, Maliki, and Hanbali schools.
  • Rulings on modern issues (e.g., finance, technology, gender interactions ).

Module 8: Ethics & Social Responsibility

  • Islamic teachings on honesty, justice, charity, and family life.
  • Addressing contemporary challenges (e.g., Islamophobia, mental health )

Module 9: Islamic History & Civilization

  • Contributions of Muslims to science, medicine, and philosophy.
  • Lessons from the Golden Age of Islam and early caliphates.

Advanced Level (Mastery & Leadership)

Module 10: In-Depth Seerah & Leadership

  • Strategic analysis of the Prophet’s diplomacy, battles, and governance.
  • Applying Islamic principles to modern leadership and entrepreneurship.
